From March 27 to March 30, Minister of Agriculture Mr. Jānis Dūklavs visited Uzbekistan, Taskhent where he opened Uzbekistan – Latvia business forum as well as participated in opening of exhibitions “AgroWorld Uzbekistan 2017”and “World Food” Uzbekistan.
During his visit, Minister Mr Janis Dūklavs had a meeting with the Uzbekistan Deputy Prime Minister and Agriculture and Water Resources minister Zoir Mirzayev. The officials discussed bilateral cooperation in the field of agriculture and signed the Memorandum of Understanding on future cooperation in fields of agriculture, fishery and forestry.
