Monitoring of animal infectious diseases is carried out by the Food and Veterinary Service (FVS) – the competent authority. FVS ensures control on enactment and implementation of requirements laid down by legislation.
Laboratory diagnostics of animal infectious diseases, differential diagnostics and functions of the national reference laboratory is carried out by State scientific institute “Institute of Food Safety, Animal Health and Environment “BIOR””.
