The Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Latvia and the partners invite You to Norway Financial Mechanism project’s “Enhancement of substantiable land soil resource management in agriculture” international opening conference, 24th September 2021 from 10:00 to 13:00 EEST (GMT +3). The conference will be held online in ZOOM platform in English and Latvian.

The participants of the conference will be presented with three significant projects currently being implemented in the fields of environment and climate:

The partners of the pre‑defined project “Enhancement of sustainable soil resource management in agriculture” of the Norway Grants Climate and Environment Program 2014 – 2021 “Climate change mitigation, adaptation to them and the environment” are the Ministry of Agriculturethe Norwegian Institute of Bioeconomy Researchthe Latvian State Forest Research Institute SILAVAthe State Plant Protection Service and the University of Latvia.

The planned project budget is EUR 1,83 million, including the Norway grant EUR 1,56 million and EUR 0,27 million - the national co-financing.
